Accessories & Parts

Delivery to all states and territories in Australia is primarily via Australia Post. Please allow 3-7 working days for delivery of your purchase from time of payment.

Shipping Fees

Shipping to most destinations is estimated between $10 and $200 (depending on size, weight &/or a dangerous goods charge) for each customer order however this is an estimate only. Destinations that are remote to Brisbane eg. Western Australia, Darwin etc and rural areas can attract higher freight charges however we cap these charges at $300 unless special circumstances apply. We take extra care when packing your bike and do our best to protect it should it experience rough handling whilst in transit.

IMPORTANT DELIVERY ADVICE

It is the buyer’s responsibility to obtain insurance for goods in transit. We strongly advise you to obtain insurance for valuable items.

Please do not accept delivery from the courier if you judge that the package and contents have been damaged.

Please do not sign for a package as damaged even if the driver asks you to do so. Signing for damage often voids any liability of the shipping company and will also void the insurance covering that consignment.

DESPATCH

Full payment of the purchase price, including relevant delivery fees, is to be received before despatch.

PAYMENTS

We accept payment online via credit cards. For over-the-phone and in-store transactions we also accept payment via bank transfer or with credit and debit cards. We do accept American Express.

REFUND & RETURNS

As a consumer you are protected by Australian Consumer Law which states that we are not required to provide a refund or replacement item if you change your mind after you make a purchase. Our policy is:

We do not provide refunds or returns for change of mind on all bicycles, discounted sale items, special orders and financed items.

We do not provide refunds or returns for change of mind on accessories after 7 days for purchases in-store or ten days for purchases on-line. This is from date of purchase.

We do not refund delivery fees.

STORAGE COSTS & DISPOSAL

For all that are not picked up within 2 weeks of service or warranty completion we will charge a storage fee of $5 per day, unless by prior arrangement.

If the bike is not collected after 6 weeks unless by prior arrangement, it may be sold to recover costs, donated to a charity, or disposed of.

PRODUCT AVAILABILITY & ONLINE PRICING

All products on our website are subject to availability and all prices are subject to change without prior notice. We make every endeavour to ensure that product prices and availability are correct on the website however please bear in mind that mistakes can happen.

SPECIFICATIONS

The manufacturer may change the specification of certain components at any time. Published specifications for all bicycles are as accurate as possible, but on occasions there may be minor variations on the published specifications.

MANUFACTURER’S WARRANTY OR GUARANTEE

All bikes purchased from CHAIN GANG BRISBANE are provided with manufacturer’s warranties and this resides with the original owner. Your bike manual will provide further details. However for most of our bikes there is a minimum two year manufacturer’s warranty on the Frame and 12 months on component/accessories (note: not wear and tear) and is claimable if the bike is used in accordance with the requirements of the manufacturer. Be aware warranties are for the repair or replacement of a faulty Frame or component and does not cover the cost of Diagnosing faults, return freight, parts removal or fitting labour.

The information collected from this site and/or during the ordering process will be used to respond to your inquiry or to fulfill your order.
